I get it.
There is so much information out there about becoming a parent, it is hard to know what to believe.
What are the best choices for your family?
I can't answer that, but I can help guide you towards your own inner knowing.
I don't believe it's an accident that you are here.
Us like-minded mommas were meant to do this together.
My name is Kaylin.
I help crunchy mommas, like you, feel in control so that they can give birth without fear.
We all know that knowledge is the ultimate power, but I also understand that not everyone has the time to research every little thing.
Heck, now that I'm a momma myself, I can hardly even find time to wash my hair, much less read fifty-million books on the birth process.
So, let me help you by giving you the information that you need to make informed, enlightened, choices during your journey into motherhood.
I'm sure you've noticed I'm a little quirky...
Call it woo-woo if you want, but I totally subscribe to the belief in the powers of affirmations and positive thinking. That's because I have witnessed these things work, time and time again. Partner this with holistic living and plant medicine and you'll have me in a nutshell.
I'm the momma to a little girl named Violet. I began birth work before she was conceived, but our (one-and-a-half years) fertility journey and birth experience (home birth turned cesarean) only made me more excited about guiding other mommas through their own transition into motherhood.
My husband, daughter, kitty, and I all live and travel around the US in a 1972 Airstream travel trailer that we remodeled ourselves! (Learn more about that here)
If you look around my Airstream, you'll find (probably WAY too much for most people's comfort) several pieces of "Vulva Art." I have ceramics, stained glass, and even a watercolor print or two. I've been obsessed with this style of art since the fifth grade. That's super weird, I know.
When I'm not working, I love spending time in nature with my family. We love playing in creeks, bird watching, plant identifying, and bug catching. Follow our adventures on Instagram.
